Yes. Our Xiao Long Bao (小笼包) are hand-pleated with 18 folds and made fresh daily in our Rockville kitchen — never frozen. We cook the pork aspic filling in-house in small batches throughout the day.

Yes. You can order online for pickup, and both dine-in and takeout are available. Ordering ahead is recommended on weekends, when Shanghai Taste fills up.

No. Shanghainese cuisine is not spicy — it relies on a sweet-savory balance of dark soy sauce, rock sugar, and Shaoxing rice wine. If you want heat, chili oil is available on the side.
